Description
Sodium Chloride Irrigation Solution is contained in plastic Seritube® and is used during surgical procedures for cleansing of tissues, body cavities, wounds or irrigation. The Irrigation Solution is also used for diluting medications prior to use e.g. inhalation solutions prior to nebulisation. The Sodium Chloride Solution acts as a mechanical cleansing action of sterile irrigation of topical locations such as body cavities, tissues, wounds, indwelling urethral catheters and surgical drainage tubes.
The ingredients in Sodium Chloride Irrigation are Sodium Chloride 0.9% in Water for Injections, Sodium Hydroxide and Hydrochloric Acid.
