Description
.Medstock Transparent Island dressing is made of highly permeable polyurethane film coated with medical acrylic adhesive, with a non-woven wound pad. Transparent and waterproof. The polyurethane film is extra thin, highly permeable, soft and highly elastic, the thickness is 0.01±5%mm. Create an occlusive environment, whilst being absorbent and permeable to oxygen and moisture. Hypoallergenic. Mild peeling strength. Does not roll up or drop off skin. Prevents bacterial invasion and accelerates wound healing.
Suitable for wounds with nil to mild exudate.
Grazes, abrasions and superficial burns.
Surgical wounds.
Retention to alginates, hydrogels, hydrocolloids pastes
